The Indian Navy is the Indian armed forces' naval branch. The Indian Navy's ultimate commander is the President of India. The Indian Navy is led by the Chief of Naval Staff, a four-star admiral. The Indian Navy recently announced a new recruitment for suitable male candidates for the grant of a Short Service Commission (SCC) to attend an extended Naval orientation course at the Indian Naval Academy in Kerala beginning in January 2022.
